TubeTrace® Type SEI/MEI – HTX – Thermon

Description

This is an electrically heated and insulated tubing bundle designed for the freeze protection of high-temperature instrument and sample lines that require the ability to withstand extreme, continuous heat exposure. It is capable of providing a low freeze-protection temperature (like 5°C / 40°F) while continuously withstanding process exposure temperatures up to 593°C (1100°F), making it suitable for superheated steam service. Like the HT type, it uses a thermally isolated, cut-to-length HPT power-limiting heat trace to shield the electric heater from the extreme temperatures of the process line. This isolated design is crucial for enabling the heat trace to function reliably in severe environments where conventional heat trace would fail.
