Description
This is an electrically heated and insulated tubing bundle that uses HPT power-limiting heat tracing and is considered the industry standard for high-temperature emissions and process analyzer applications due to its durability. It is designed to provide freeze protection or temperature maintenance up to 204°C (400°F) while having the capability to withstand high exposure temperatures up to 260°C (500°F) when the power is off. The HPT heating cable features a composite construction that provides durability, and its power-limiting nature means it automatically reduces power output as the temperature increases, lowering the risk of overheating.
Features
- Heat Trace Type: Uses HPT power-limiting heat tracing, which adjusts power output to surrounding conditions.
- Maximum Maintain Temp: Can maintain process temperatures up to 204°C (400°F).
- Maximum Exposure Temp: Can continuously withstand exposure temperatures (power off) up to 260°C (500°F).
- Installation: “Cut-to-length” feature allows for easy field fabrication and connections, minimizing waste.
- Electrical Advantage: Has a low start-up current, reducing the need to oversize electrical components.
- Durability: Known for exceptional durability, making it the preferred choice for high-temperature and harsh environments.
- Certification: Approved for use in ordinary (non-classified) areas and hazardous (classified) areas.
