Description
RAYCHEM STS-HV Skin-Effect Heat Tracing Cable is specifically crafted for medium-temperature STS Trace Heating applications, ideal for long pipeline scenarios where access to power connections and sources is limited. STS-HV Skin-Effect Heating Cable enables circuit lengths of up to 50 km (31 miles) between power connection points, approved for use in both hazardous and non-hazardous locations. Capable of applications up to a maximum of 302 °F/150 °C, its Silicone outer jacket is well-suited for heating pipelines transporting materials like crude oil and VGO.
Designed to address medium-temperature STS Trace Heating requirements, the STS-HV tracing wire meets regulatory standards such as the U.S. National Electrical Code and the Canadian Electrical Code when integrated into an -designed STS Trace Heating System.
The RAYCHEM STS-HV Skin-Effect Freeze Protection & Temperature Maintenance Heat Tracing Cable offers a reliable, efficient, and safe solution for medium-temperature applications in long pipelines, providing extended circuit lengths, enhanced control systems, and durability in varied environments and applications.
