Description

The FAK-4T Thermostat Kit is a control accessory specifically designed to create a weatherproof and insulated seal where a mechanical thermostat sensing bulb is to be installed onto an electrically heated TubeTrace bundle. This installation point is necessary when a thermostat is used for simple on/off temperature control or as a high-limit cutoff.

Features

• Function: Provides a sealed and insulated enclosure for the field installation of a thermostat sensing bulb and its capillary armor.
• Compatibility: Used primarily on electrically heated TubeTrace bundles (SE/ME Types).
• Installation: Includes a specific fitting designed to grip and seal around the thermostat capillary armor, securely holding the sensing bulb in place against the process tube for accurate temperature sensing.
• Seal Integrity: Includes a UV-resistant shell, insulation, heat reflective tape, and RTV sealant to ensure the thermal and weatherproof seal is maintained around the thermostat’s sensor and armor penetration point.
• Components: Includes a thermostat armor seal fitting assembly, silicone gasket, and RTV sealant.
