Description

The FAK-10-C is a heat-shrinkable seal kit designed for bundles where three separate exposed tubes or components exit the end of the jacket. This is typically used on multiple tube electrically or steam traced bundles where several elements, such as multiple process tubes, and/or a tracer line, are separated and sealed at the termination point.

Features

• Function: Provides a watertight, durable end seal for a bundle terminating in three exposed components (3-Legs).
• Seal Mechanism: Uses a molded heat shrink seal with three small openings for the three outgoing tubes/cables. When heated, the seal conforms to the three exposed elements and the bundle jacket.
• Compatibility: Used on multiple tube electric or steam traced bundles (ME or MP bundles) up to approximately 59.6 mm (2.35 inches) O.D.
• Application: Ensures the environmental seal of the bundle is maintained even when multiple lines exit the jacket at a single point.
• Temperature Rating: Maximum exposure temperature is typically 135°C (275°F).
