Description

The FAK-10-A is a heat-shrinkable seal kit designed to create a watertight end termination for tubing bundles where only one exposed tube/component exits the end of the main bundle jacket. This type of seal is typically used on single-tube pre-insulated bundles (ThermoTube) or where a larger bundle reduces down to a single element for connection.

Features

• Function: Provides a watertight, durable end seal for a bundle terminating in a single exposed component (1-Leg).
• Seal Mechanism: Uses a heat shrink sleeve that, when heated, shrinks down to tightly seal the bundle’s outer jacket onto the single exposed tube.
• Compatibility: Used on single-tube bundles (e.g., ThermoTube SL) and single-electric traced bundles up to approximately 49.5 mm (1.95 inches) O.D.
• Temperature Rating: Maximum exposure temperature is typically 135°C (275°F), with higher temperature variants available.
